What is Text Share?
A minimal, pastebin-style share for anything that isn't code, a log, or a config file — notes, snippets, error messages, a list to send a teammate. It uses the same expiring-link model as the rest of LogShare: paste, share, and it's gone when it expires.
A temporary pastebin with no login
Every paste needs an expiry, from 30 minutes to 7 days, so nothing lingers because someone forgot to delete it. There is no account, no paste history and nothing listed publicly: the link is the only way in. From a terminal, curl -T notes.txt https://logshare.in does the same thing (more command-line options).
Privacy
Your text is stored temporarily on the server until it expires — it is never processed by a third party, and the page is excluded from search engine indexing.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a paste last?
As long as you choose when you create it: 30 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 24 hours or 7 days. Then the text is permanently deleted and the link returns a 410 Gone page. There is no "never" option.
Do I need an account or a login?
No. Nothing on LogShare needs an account, an email address or a login, on your side or the reader's.
Who can read my paste?
Anyone with the link. Links are random tokens that are never listed, and share pages are excluded from search engines. For text that needs a lock, use a Private Room with a PIN.
Can I paste from the command line?
Yes. Pipe text into curl --data-binary @- https://logshare.in, or upload a file with curl -T notes.txt https://logshare.in, and the link comes back. Add ?type=text&expiry=1h to choose the type and expiry.
Is there a size limit?
Up to 5 MB of text per paste. Text only; binary files are refused.
